I write a popular blog (Two Blue Boots) for In the Hills Magazine. This blog is a humourous look at everyday country life. I live on the outskirts of Orangeville, in the Hockley Hills.
I describe myself as a lifelong learner because I’m addicted to courses and workshops. I’ve studied Improv, Stand-up, and Writing in the comedy program at Humber College. I’m also a three-time graduate of Dan Needles’ Page to Stage classes. I am also a member of the Tremont Collaborative in Collingwood… as well as an avid participant in Gaslight Community Theatre Productions.
During the school-year, I am most well-known as Mrs. May, a Grade Four teacher at Island Lake Public School. I enjoy spending my days with amazing students and staff in an environment that allows me to infuse creative energy, humour, and a passion for the arts into my classroom.
My favourite roles, however, are those of Wife and Mom. My family (composed of humans and pets) is a busy, constantly changing, tour de force. There is never a dull moment. We enjoy lots of laughter and lots of love.
